It's a difficult situation for farmers in Maharashtra. The problem is sugarcane glut yet again. Expecting good returns, farmers across Maharashtra went in for sugarcane cultivation but with sugar prices down and a bumper crop this year, sugarcane farmers are in for some real trouble.
