Supreme Court's 4 Questions To Election Commission On How VVPATs Work | Read
The Supreme Court will today pronounce its verdict on a batch of petitions seeking directions to tally Voter-Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) slips with votes cast through Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) during the elections. A bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta this morning asked a senior official of the Election Commission of India (ECI) to be present in the court at 2 pm to answer a few queries.
