"Approach Czech Court": Supreme Court On Indian Accused In US Murder Plot | Read
The Supreme Court has adjourned till January 4 a petition by the family of Nikhil Gupta - the man accused by the United States of conspiring to assassinate US-based Sikh separatist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Mr Gupta, currently in a prison in the Czech Republic, had asked India to intervene in extradition proceedings imitated by the US. The petition, filed by a family member identified only as Mr X, claimed Nikhil Gupta's illegal detention in Prague, and that, as a law-abiding citizen, fears his life.
