As a soldier it is frustrating to see Pakistani flags and anti-India slogans but doesn't mean you shoot the people in the head, said Lt Gen Deependra Singh Hooda, former General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Indian Army's one of the most sensitive commands, the Northern Command. Lt Gen Hooda, who retired in November 2016, said that the Indian Army's surgical strikes across the Line of Control on staging areas for terrorists was a genuine strike and a proper payback for the Uri attack. He also claims that the cross-LoC strike by the Indian Army's elite Para Special Forces was something that was never attempted earlier. Watch Gen Hooda recount the trauma of losing his "boys" in the Uri attack and the tense moments before prior to the successful cross-LoC strikes on Walk The Talk.
