Survey In Telangana, Backward Class Comprise 56% Of State's Population

Congress | According to Telangana Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, the results of the caste census, which was carried out in November and December 2024, showed that 56.33% of the state's population is classified as belonging to the Backward Classes. Members of Scheduled Castes who have converted to Christianity, Muslims, and Hindus are all included in this.
