System has failed me: German girl's mother
Fadela Fuchs, the German woman who alleged her 14-year-old daughter had been raped by the son of Goa Education Minister Babush Monserrate, has written a letter to the Calangute police withdrawing her complaint. Fadela Fuchs had in the past alleged that she was under pressure to withdraw. She said she had even been approached by Monserrate's wife Jennifer, an allegation the minister's wife denied.
