Tamil Nadu All Party Meet: Stalin Ups The Ante On Delimitation

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, has urged all political parties to participate in the all-party meeting convened by the DMK on the fifth of March to discuss the issue of delimitation. CM Stalin warned that if delimitation is carried out solely based on population, Tamil Nadu could lose up to eight Lok Sabha seats, reducing its representation from 39 to 31 MPs. But the BJP has said that the DMK is trying to spread imaginary fears. In fact, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that southern states would not lose “even a single seat” after delimitation.
