Chennai police have detained the Tamil Nadu Congress president and several other party workers as they attempted to march towards the Raj Bhavan in protest against what they called harassment of party chief Sonia Gandhi and leader Rahul Gandhi by the Enforcement Directorate. The Congress is also opposing Agnipath, a radical recruitment scheme for the armed forces, terming it an attempt to infiltrate the defence establishment with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The BJP has, however, denied this. NDTV'S Sam Daniel reports
