Tamil Nadu Cops Search Central Probe Agency Offices In Bribe Case
Tamil Nadu police on Saturday searched the Enforcement Directorate (ED) offices in the state, a day after arresting an ED officer in an alleged bribery case. The ED sub zonal office in Madurai was among the places searched by the cops. ED officer Ankit Tiwari was arrested and sent to 15 days judicial custody after being caught red-handed accepting a bribe from a government doctor, whom he was trying to extort money from in an old case, NDTV's Sam Daniel reports.
