It has been a nasty confrontation between the Governor of Tamil Nadu and the state government this week with unprecedented scenes in the assembly. Moving away from convention, the Governor omitted portions of his speech which are supposed to spell out the government agenda and then stormed off when the chief minister moved a resolution to retain the original speech.
