Tamil Nadu Schools Prep For Partial Reopening

Schools across Tamil Nadu are gearing up for partial reopening for classes IX to XII from the first of September. The state government has issuesd guidelines and SOP, including 6 feet physical distancing in classes, 50% strength at any point in time, separate entry and exit and signage. The state's daily tally has drastically dipped to less than 2,000. NDTV's Sam Daniel spoke to Ms John Sagana A, Principal of Vidhyashram School, on steps being taken, feedback from parents, worries and impact of online classes on students. Tamil Nadu Government is expected to issue orders on partial reopening of schools in a few days.
