Tamil Nadu To Amend Public Health Act To Punish COVID-19 Norms' Violators
With the Centre pushing for free movement within and between states, without the need for e-passes, the Tamil Nadu government is amending its Public Health Act to crackdown on those violating COVID-19 norms. The state's tally has crossed four lakh, with more than 50,000 active cases. Health Secretary Dr J Radhakrishnan told NDTV that the state is working on an ordinance for this.
