The problem we face most is what to accept as reality and what not to. So the easiest way to decode this is to define it as good reality and bad reality. First the good reality: inter-faith marriages and inter-faith harmony exists in this country. It is a fact. But then there is the bad reality as well. Communal clashes and religious conflict too is a reality in this country. But what do we want to celebrate is going to define our character. Will we celebrate our unity or our differences? The Tanishq advertisement withdrawal has kick-started this very basic and fundamental debate. Have we all started celebrating the bad reality where we celebrate and accept bigotry and communal differences?
