Tata Motors to set up plant in WB

Tata Motors will set up its much-touted Rs 1 lakh car project in West Bengal. Chairman Ratan Tata and West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya made the announcement on Thursday in Kolkata. The plant will be set up in the Singur block of Chandannagar sub-division in the Hooghly district, one of the short-listed locations that had been doing the rounds.
