Sanjeev Agarwal, CEO, Gitanjali Export Corporation says, earlier, on the sale of jewellery of above Rs 2 lakh in cash, the seller was required to deduct 1 per cent tax at source. This limit has been raised to Rs 5 lakh now, he added.
