Teacher Apologises For Asking Students To Slap Classmate, Denies Communal Angle
In UP's Muzaffarnagar, a teacher making communal remarks against a student and getting him slapped by his classmates has triggered shock and outrage. While the accused teacher has admitted her mistake, the father of the boy who was slapped is demanding legal action against her. The education department has issued a show-cause notice to the school. But the real issue is no action has been taken against the teacher even though it's a crime to beat a student.
