Telenor buys 60% of Unitech's wireless biz

Telenor Inc, the largest Nordic phone company agreed to buy 60 per cent of the real estate major, Unitech's wireless business for a whopping sum of over Rs 6,000 crores, on Wednesday. Unitech wireless is expected to start operations by mid-2009 and has licenses to all 22 circles in India.
