Abdul Karim Telgi, currently lodged in Pune's Yerwada Jail, is standing trial for the murder of his driver who attempted to swindle Telgi of some of his ill-gotten gains. On the night of August 27, 2001, the gruesome events unfolded at Telgi's Cuffe Parade flat- the scene of crime now sealed by the CBI.
