Temple stampede: Death toll rises to 147
A stampede caused by rushing devotees crushed almost 147 people to death and injured over a 100 in the famous Chamunda Devi temple in Jodhpur's Mehrangarh fort on Tuesday morning. A lot of devotees had gathered in the temple as it was the first day of Navaratri festival. The number could further rise as some of the critically injured succumb to their injuries.
