Tense calm prevails in Ghadsana
The army has been called into Ghadsana town of Rajasthan's Sriganganagar district where farmers demanding irrigation water for their rabi crops fought pitched battles with the police on Monday evening. Farmers in the area have been demanding their full share of 58 per cent water from the Indira Gandhi Canal that was promised to them by the government.
