Terror Strikes Assam Again
Bodo terrorists gunned down 13 people in Assam's Kokrajhar on Friday. The terrorists belong to the breakaway Songbijit faction of the banned National Democratic Front of Bodoland . This was seen to be a retaliatory strike after the Army eliminated four NDFD (S) terrorists recently. On the Buck Stops Here, as the new BJP government in Assam tackles its first major crisis, we look at the spiral of violence in Assam where the crisis of caste dominated violence in parts of the state shows no signs of ebbing.
