Textile sector strike against rising price of yarn

Textile manufacturers across the country struck work on Friday in protest against the rising price of textile yarn. Due to large scale exports of cotton yarn, domestic yarn prices have spiked up by more than 85 percent. This has led to many industries shutting down.
