While the country was protesting against the horrific Kolkata rape and murder case, news from Thane shocked us all. Massive protest erupted today in Thane over the sexual assault of two four-year-old girls at a school, which saw a 'rail roko' for several hours at the Badlapur train station. The 2 young children were allegedly sexually assaulted in the school washroom by a cleaner who has been arrested, but what enraged the protesters is the claim that the girls' parents were made to wait 11 hours at a local police station for an FIR and a muted response from the school. At NDTV we continue our #Safeguardourdaughters campaign, we ask, 'When will our girls be safe?' Watch the full on NDTV.
