The largest state in the country, Madhya Pradesh has been a saffron bastion for over a decade. However, many believe that the Congress could deny Shivraj Singh Chouhan a fourth term in office. It is a state which gave BJP 27 out of 29 seats in the 2014 elections, and is critical to prospects of both the national parties in the 2019 elections.
