First came the purge of founder members of AAP from the party, then a series of arrests of AAP MLAs followed by CDs indicting AAP leaders of corruption, sex scandals. The party, which has always prided itself for being different - offering a transparent governance based on principles of non-corruption, high moral and ethical values - suddenly seemed like any other political party. However, the real sting in the criticism has come from none other than the anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare who had 'high hopes' from Arvind Kejriwal. The veteran has questioned AAP chief's style of functioning and criticised him on not paying due diligence while appointing members and ministers. In its defence. the AAP has cited a number of cases where courts have questioned the motive of Delhi police and the vindictive nature of the Modi government? The question everyone is asking is - what has happened to AAP - is it imploding?
