A tense weekend in Ayodhya has ended peacefully. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has concluded a four-hour-long Dharma Sabha or congregation of religious heads amid tight security. From the stage, those who spoke, urged the government to bring an ordinance to facilitate the construction of the Ram Temple at Ayodhya at the earliest. But no resolution was passed and no ultimatum has been given to the government.
