Strengthening Ties: Union Minister Piyush Goyal Highlights India-US Partnership

At the NDTV Profit Conclave 2025, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal expressed that both India and the US share concerns regarding the practices of 'non-market' economies that lack transparency in their trading activities. He emphasised, "The primary issue lies with economies that operate without transparency. We are striving to facilitate smoother import and export processes between our two nations. I don't believe there is any reason for concern regarding tariffs." The relationship between two trusted partners and which is on the bedrock of two powerful democracies. We don't compete as much as we compliment each other, the Union Minister added.
