The dark side of Delhi's winters
The New Year in Delhi was marked by signs of real, biting chill, the season's minimum temperatures. It's the time when the homeless really seek out night shelters, but not everyone finds space. The rush is a lot heavier these days at the biggest shelter for the homeless in Old Delhi. It has space for 500 people. But as the night grows colder, there are many more than that number outside.
