In today's episode of US Election Watch, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are focusing on Rust Belt states, particularly Michigan, Wisconsin, and especially Pennsylvania. These states are pivotal in elections; Trump won the presidency in 2016 by securing all three states with a combined margin of about 80,000 votes. President Joe Biden reclaimed the White House in 2020 by winning the same states by a margin of approximately 260,000 votes. Both the Trump and Harris campaigns have heavily invested in Pennsylvania, with nearly $120 million more spent in advertising in the Rust Belt compared to other regions.
