The Impact of Justice For Every Child Campaign So Far
Admiral RS Shrawat (Retd.), Managing Director, Kailash Satyarthi Foundation, said that the war on child sexual abuse was started in 2017, when Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi launched a 'Bharat Yatra' from Kanyakumari to Delhi. The Yatra witnessed nearly 8 lakh people march with the aim to stop child abuse. As a result, several amendments to the POCSO act were introduced. The impact of last season of the campaign saw the Foundation intervene and support 15000 cases, in terms of legal, mental to compensation support.
