As the Maliki government struggles against ISIS's advance, Iraq's Vice-President called on Parliament to convene next week taking the first step towards forming a new government to present a united front against a rapidly advancing Sunni insurgency. NDTV's Amitabh Revi reports from Erbil where the autonomous Kurds are the only people countering a blitz by Sunni militants that threatens to splinter Iraq. Earlier this week in Erbil, US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani to urge the Kurds - who have no love lost for the Shiite Al Maliki and have said he must step down instead of seeking a third term - to help in the formation of a new Iraqi government. Kurdish support will be key to hold Iraq together.
