The Lokpal debate: What is the way forward?
While the government believes the current Lokpal Bill draft is strong enough, Team Anna members say their core demands the Prime Minister, CBI and the lower bureaucracy must be included in the draft that will be discussed over Parliament over the next few days. The ensuing debate throws up more questions. Is Team Anna right to protest in this way? Is it bypassing Parliament? And what should be the next step?
