Children lose life in the India's Capital city. The victims are not just of a disease of dengue but of a deadlier combination of indifference of public health, larger negligence of a core problem. We discuss the issues that are rising out of what some may say is a panic situation while others may say it as an epidemic of dengue. But the stories are repeated across cities and rural areas. The situation of healthcare is dismal as it is. Why do we wake up only when there is an emergency and expect the healthcare to be fully functional?
