The Delhi elections may be dominating the news headlines but we are actually going beyond it. We are looking at the most interesting trends that are emerging from the battle of this capital city. The new order in politics, Kiran Bedi, a complete outsider from party politics, brought in by political strategist Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, the BJP party president, to be the party's chief ministerial candidate. Another departure, Arvind Kejriwal and AAP, the quintessential outsiders, how will they fare in this election? They are already being seen as the party to defeat and Ajay Maken, again he is a traditional politician but he has emerged as Rahul Gandhi's choice in selection. There are no signs of earlier stalwarts like Sheila Dikshit. What do these strengths mean really for larger political trends? That's what we will be looking at tonight.
