The Process Of Giving A New Life To Old Uniforms
NGO Sewaj Neesim Foundation collects old uniforms in a variety of ways - retired officers bring them to the workshop; the foundation organises special drives to collect them; old uniforms from various cantonment areas, academies and headquarters are sent in via courier. Once the uniforms are received, the team then carefully checks for any medals, insignia and name tags, and removes them with due respect. Then the process of upcycling these uniforms into articles like laptop bags and lunch boxes begins.
