Open spaces are a luxury in a country which needs to provide a roof for 1.2 billion people. However, shrinking open spaces are a huge concern for every citizen of the country. The unprecedented level of construction activity is eating up more and more open spaces and the consequences are there for all of us to deal with on a daily basis like higher levels of pollution, climate change and huge levels of stress in daily living.
