The World This Week: Tragedy in Somalia (Aired: Aug 1994)
The ambush and killing of seven Indian peacekeepers in Somalia has caused anguish and concern back home. Not just among familes of those who lost their lives, but among ordinary people. The Opposition has called for the withdrawal of Indian soldiers from that beleaguered country on the ground that it's somebody else's war. But the Army, the government and many soldiers say they are committed to UN peacekeeping duties wherever they may arise.
