"There's No Doubt We Have Let Down The Poorest": Magsaysay Awardee

Anshu Gupta, Magsaysay awardee and the founder of Goonj, an NGO that works for the economically weaker sections, tells NDTV that there is no doubt that we have let down our poorest during the coronavirus lockdown. It has been weeks but even now people are undertaking difficult journeys of hundreds of kilometres home on foot. Anshu Gupta says the government urgently needs to help people get home, as that is their right, and also ensure that we use all means available to us to make sure no one goes hungry.
