Akali Dal leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal, who quit as Union minister today opposing the BJP government's new farm bills, says farmers are scared about their future. "Two months was a long time to get the farmers' and labourers' confidence in the matter," she says. Adding that her party has always supported farmers, she said their confidence could have been won if their problems were addressed. She also hit out Punjab's ruling Congress government says who are they to ask questions when they have implemented the same act in the state for 3 years.
