'They Have Shot A Policeman': Mathura Violence Captured On Cellphone
24 people have died in a battle between the police and supporters of an obscure sect in Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. This was no ordinary clash as guns, swords and hand grenades were used, gas cylinders blown up. A mini army greeted the police as they arrived on Thursday to do just a recce before they began cracking down on what they called encroachers. Parts of this violent and bloody battle were captured on a mobile phone. Watch the footage.
