Third Front talk again, but is it feasible?
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is now putting her weight behind the third front, which she now calls the federal front. With the BJP-JD(U) alliance reportedly set for a split, Ms Banerjee calls up Nitish Kumar. Another powerful chief minister - Naveen Patnaik – today held a rally in Delhi. He has already backed a federal front. But can a third or a federal front ever work or is it just a mirage in Indian politics today? We debate.
