Sangita Reddy, Joint MD, Apollo Hospitals said that the third wave, whenever it happens can be mitigated depending on certain factors like number of people vaccinated, the ability to communicate effectively about adhering to COVID appropriate behaviour, focussing on the science of tracking the virus, its mutations and possible impact, accessing the need for booster shots among the already vaccinated masses, medical readiness to combat the third wave and so while it is all doable there is so much to be done.
