This Gurugram Housing Society Has A Perfect Waste Management Model
Garden Estate in Gurugram has become an inspiring example of collective initiatives towards waste segregation and composting. The residents segregate kitchen and bathroom waste in green and red coloured dustbins and recyclable waste in a white bag. The students of the society went from house to house and spread awareness about the entire mission. The sewage treatment plant in the society generates 75,000 litres of water a day and the surplus water is given to a nearby biodiversity park, once a week.
