The Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary, located near Viramgam in Ahmedabad district, has once again emerged as a top destination for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. Every winter, from December to March, millions of migratory birds make their way to the sanctuary, making it one of the most popular birding sites in India.The sanctuary spans 120.08 square kilometers, with its shallow waters attracting over 350 species of birds, both native and foreign.
