The race for becoming the president of the Maharashtra Cricket Association may have become a three-way battle with Sharad Pawar filing his nomination for the MCA polls. This comes a day after senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde filed his nomination for the same post. The battle may become more interesting as reports suggest that Maharashtra's chief minister Prithviraj Chavan may also file his nomination on October 11. The election is scheduled on October 18.
