Tiger held captive for one week released
A man was killed by a tiger in Shimoga district of Karnataka last week - he was part of a group that had surrounded and was stoning the animal which had wandered out of the forest into a village. The tiger was eventually tranquilised and captured. But rather than condemning the big cat to captivity, the decision was taken to release the animal back into the wild. NDTV travelled to the Bhadra Tiger Reserve to witness the release.
