Three tiger cubs were born to tigress Meera in a zoological park in India's central Gwalior city on April 20. All three cubs are in healthy condition said zoo administration. "Meera was born in this zoo in 2013 and this is the third time she has given birth. At first, she gave birth to three cubs following which another two cubs were born and now she has again given birth to three more cubs," said the zoo in-charge, Dr Upendra Yadav. Meera was seen nursing her cubs within the zoo premises. India has about three-fourths of the world's estimated tiger population in dozens of reserves established since the 1970s.
