Former leader Mahendra Singh Tikait finally surrendered before the Uttar Pradesh police on Wednesday. He surrendered and apologised for his remarks and left for his village a bit defeated. He has been accused of making provocative and casteist remarks against UP Chief Minister Mayawati at a rally on Sunday.
