U.S. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order delaying TikTok's ban by 75 days. Originally slated to be shut down on January 19th, the short-video app now has a temporary reprieve. The order directs the attorney general not to enforce the ban to allow the administration time to decide TikTok's fate. In another development, President Donald Trump has revoked a 2021 executive order by Joe Biden that aimed to make 50% of all new U.S. vehicle sales electric by 2030. The non-binding target had support from U.S. and international automakers. Trump's new order also freezes unspent funds from a $5 billion EV charging station program and calls for ending state waivers to enforce zero-emission vehicle rules by 2035.
