Tilaiya UMPP RFP may be delayed
The government wants to make some sweeping changes in the bid process for ultra mega power projects (UMPP) to ensure that existing bidders do not walk away with most of the projects.The new rules makes the race tougher for the likes of Tata Power and Reliance energy but final touches are being given to the new rules, the fourth project Tilaiya may have to wait a while.
